In the northwest, less than 2 hours away from Quito, you can find the Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve. Situated close to Nanegalito, it covers 1730 acres and differs from other reserves by its unique biodiversity of the flora and fauna. Bellavista is one of the 13 official ecotourism projects in Ecuador and guarantees an eventful and relaxing stay at a lodge known for its sustainable tourism.

Fourteen rooms with private bathrooms or dorm rooms with 12 beds in total, comfortably equipped are prepared for the guests. The extraordinary Sachatamia Lodge is a private-owned ecological reserve only 1½ hours away from Quito. It covers 300 acres mountain cloud forest at an altitude of 1700m.
