rhythms, especially salsa and merengue. Nevertheless, other courses
such as tango are available as well.
Our recommended Language
Schools permanently organise salsa lessons for students, without
any additional cost, so that they can get fully immersed in the
Ecuadorian culture.
Agricultural and farming activities have played and continue to
play a fundamental role for Ecuadorians, especially in the countryside.
For visitors interested in learning and experiencing themselves
the daily hacienda life, a wide array of interesting activities

Being a multicultural country, Ecuador is a very interesting place
to learn and practice Spanish and to get enriched by Latin American
and indigenous cultures.
Learning Spanish in Ecuador offers several advantages. First of
all, Spanish spoken in Ecuador is more understandable than in other
South American countries, which is an important factor for learning
the language relatively easily.
Also, Ecuadorian inhabitants are very cordial and open-minded to
foreigners, which enables visitors to quickly engage in conversation
with the native-speaking population. Furthermore, cost of living
in Ecuador is still less expensive than in other Spanish-speaking
countries, enabling students to afford language courses for several
weeks.
Apart from language studies, you will have the opportunity to discover
the country’s rich cultural and natural diversity. Salsa and
cooking lessons, visits to museums, culture and nature trips, and
much more is organised by the Spanish schools, in order to offer
you an integrative experience.
