Pedagogy
In the Academia Bipo y Toni's, the student is the centre of the learning process and, as such, one-to-one and small group courses are provided in which the student's level of comprehension and “learning rhythm” sets the pace for the instructor. Moreover, Academia Bipo y Toni's has accumulated a wealth of resources and learning materials to provide students with the most advanced and updated texts in the realms of: accentuation, fluency and conversation, reading comprehension, as well as writing and listening skills. After 120 lessons, there will be an exam according to the level. The student will be given a certificate, licensed by the Ministry of Education of Ecuador (With shorter stays, you will be given a certificate of the academy). Due to recent changes in the syllabus it will be easier in the future to accredit the courses in other countries. Most importantly, they offer a host of different educational programs tailored to the specific needs and interests of the diverse student base and which concentrates in: immersion and cultural studies, volunteerism and social justice (the Academy owned project FADCOP for the reforestation of the Casitagua, 10 kilometers north of Quito), travel adventure and business. Furthermore, the language school works together with a travel agency that is part of the academy.

Mission
The language school La Lengua is suited to all age groups and levels. The flexible timetable of your one-to-one lessons will be adapted to your personal travel schedule – no matter if you`re doing a business trip, an internship or simply having a holiday, your timetable will be tuned to your plans.
The objective of your classes consists not only in passing the language and an excellent feel for the language on to you, but as well in helping you to approach the Ecuadorian culture: in addition to the language classes, you get the opportunity to do an internship or to travel around.

Pedagogy
You as a student are the focus of the learning process and consequently, the international qualified syllabi are used in one-to-one lessons. The number and as well the location of lessons are up to you, and on personal wish classes in small groups are possible.
For reasons of grading you in the correct level of classes, you will initially be tested on your knowledge of grammar and your pronunciation. The classes aim to pass vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation on to you by means of exercises and discussions. You personally can take part in the decision on the topics of discussion – be it on history, politics, economy, geography, culture or a bit of everything.
If you`d like to get to know the different Ecuadorian accents, you have the option of changing your personal teacher every week. And as the application of your language achievements in everyday life is at least as important as classes, you find daily excursions built into your timetable on a regular basis. On those small trips you apply the language, accompanied by your teacher, in situations like, for example, shopping.
Part of the syllabus will be a book of exercises, containing reading and writing exercises, grammar examples and vocabulary. Furthermore, there is also audiovisual and video learning aid available, as well as the library is open to you.
From 120 lessons on you will receive an official diploma from the Ecuadorian ministry of education.
