Programme “La Casa de Marita” Hotel 5 nights/6 days

Day 1
- Transfer from the pier or the airport to “La Casa de Marita" Hotel
- Welcome and presentation by the naturalist guide of Galápagos National Park
- Lunch in hotel
- Excursion in a small fishing boat to the “shark grotto“, where you can watch white tipped sharks; visiting a colony of marine iguanas and young sealions. Here you can snorkel with turtles and seals
- Dinner in hotel


Day 2
- Excursion to Sierra Negra Volcano (the second biggest crater in the world) and to the active Chico Volcano. The trip will be made by car, on horse and part of the way will be covered on foot. On the way you can admire the diverse vegetation as well as different volcanic formations of Isabela Island.
- Lunch box
- Return to hotel and relaxation on the beach
- Dinner in hotel


Day 3
- Trip to the Tortoise Breeding Centre and walk on the new footpaths and through the wetlands of the Galápagos National Park. During the walk you will learn about the diverse endemic plants of the island, as for instance the immemorial black mangroves, as well as about a variety of seabirds. There are further many beautiful beaches before you will finally reach the ’Wall of Tears’ (Muro de las Lágrimas), which was built by convicts in 1954.

Day 4
- Excursion in a small fishing boat to the lava tubes. With the boat you enter this natural aquarium of black lava tubes, tunnels and bridges, where you will find crystal-clear water, white sand and fish in all colours and sizes. During a walk of 2 hours you can observe sea turtles, manta rays, seals and different seabirds. Here you will have the opportunity to snorkel and swim.

Day 5
- Trip to the Brother or Tortuga Islet. During the crossing lasting about 20 minutes you can admire the numerous seabirds of the Galápagos archipelago and on the way back you will have the possibility to fish.
- Return and lunch or lunch box
- In the afternoon you can snorkel with seals and pelicans in Concha de Perla
- Farewell dinner


Day 6
- Early breakfast
- Passage to Baltra
- Flight with Tame to Quito or Guayaquil

Not included are flight Quito-Galápagos-Quito, entrance fee to the National Park ($100) and trip Baltra-Isabela-Baltra*.
