07:00 – 16:00 Excursion to the Indian market in Saquisili
in company of your Spanish teacher.
Every Thursday locals coming from the nearby villages pour into
Saquisilï to buy and sell fruits, vegetables, cattle, etc.
Many travelers consider this market as Ecuador’s most
beautiful. Saquisilï is 2 hours away from Quito, passing
the Cotopaxi Vulcan. First you visit the cattle market and then
the rest. Lunch (not included) and drive back to Quito.

Option 1:
Breakfast, 08:00 – 12:00, 4 hours Spanish lessons, excursion
with your teacher to Cotacachi in the afternoon, Spanish conversation.
This small village is 15 km away from Otavalo. It is famous
for its leather manufacture. If there is time, visit of the
Cuicocha Lake.
Option 2:
Breakfast, all day trip to Ibarra with your Spanish teacher.
This attractive colonial city is only 22 km north of Otavalo.
It is also the capital of the state of Imbabura.
Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel “Otavalo Prince”,
single room with private bathroom.

Ecuador and do some shopping.

Arrival in Coca from where you take a boat down the “Rio
Napo" river until you get to the "Rio Manduro"
river (almost 1h). Here is the Yarina Jungle Lodge where you
will be staying the rest of the days. Lunch, 4 hours Spanish
lessons.

Breakfast. Excursion along the “Socali” way. Here
you will have the possibility to enjoy the diversity of the
local biota. You will enjoy the fascinating world of birds and
the extraordinary view from the look-out (Excursion nearly 4
hours).

Looking for an adventure? You won’t be disappointed!
After the breakfast you will walk along the Capibara way. Let
yourself enchant by nature while your Guide tells you more about
the secrets of medicine plants. You will also get to know the
trees of which the natives make their huts.
Afterwards you will go piranha fishing…something you won’t
forget that fast!

In the afternoon you will learn more about native armory used
in the Amazon region: Bodoquera / Cervatana.
Relax afterwards at the beach of the „Rio Napo“.
You will do a boat trip in the evening and listen to the sounds
of the jungle. In the night you will search for crocodiles....
unforgettable! (Nearly 1 h)

Get to know more about the Amazonian culture and visit the houses
of the natives.
Afterwards you will drive back to Coca and from there with the
night bus back to Quito. |

to Agua Blanca in the afternoon. This small village has an archeological
Museum about the excavation site of Manta, which is half an
hour walk away from the village.

Excursion to the “Piqueros” beach in the afternoon,
visit of the local museum which deals with the safety of the
local sea animals.

Breakfast, excursion to Montañita with your Spanish
teacher. Montañita is famous for its „Hippie”
and Surf community and its bamboos architecture. Here you will
try how to surf, buy some jewelry and souvenirs, or just relax
at the beach and swim.
